Water park in a steam boiler

A world of water action built in an old former steam power plant is by far the coolest in-door action and adventure water park in Scandinavia. Equipped with modern digital technology and spectacular light settings changing environments and unique themes can be created.

A major challenge was to plan and build technical installations and piping in an existing and culturally protected industrial building. Also, a large part of the old equipment as among other things the big boilers has been preserved.

Demanding was also the big water flows and lifting of water eight floors up to supply the facility with water to its giant attractions, all built in large and heavy dimensions.

EnviroProcess delivered four separate, high energy-efficient water treatment systems that supply all pools, slides, and attractions at Kokpunkten with high quality water. As sub-contractor to the main entrepreneur and owner of the facility, PEAB, EnviroProcess also did project planning and delivered control system technology, water attractions, water slides and rapids (commission), spa and sauna etc.
